Our trip to...Whitby and Goathland

Hi guys! Today's blog post is about a little trip we had earlier this year in September. We love going to Whitby, the shops, arcades and atmosphere is just what we like, it also gives the opportunity to go on a day trip the day after we stay over as there are so many cool places to visit in the North Yorkshire Moors.   We stay in a B&B in Hinderwell called St Hilda's Boutique. The rooms are just amazing and unique and it's owned by such welcoming people. I'll probably do a blog post some time dedicated to the hotel. We stayed in the LA suite which was amazing I mean we had Elvis in a car above our bed and an old school gas pump as a wardrobe?!   We spend a windy day in Whitby, had dinner, went round the shops, walked up the 199 steps the Whitby Abbey and yeah it was just really fun. We didn't actually go in the Abbey as we didn't fancy it but took a picture still. I love cute flower shops, nothing better. (food shops are a clo...

My trip to... The World Travel Market

Hey, so today’s blog post is a reflect on a trip I had in November to the World Travel Market in London! I went with university and it was quite a last min trip. We stayed in the royal national hotel in Russel square which is very average, but does the job. It’s also a 2 min walk to the tube. I loved the tea cups hanging idea at this stand. Oh yeah, so this is the only picture I took before hand and obviously it has a Snapchat filter on!  Patterns. You can see how many bags of free stuff I had already and we hadn't been there long! (Me and Charlotte) All the stands were ...

Christmas Markets

For my first blog post I thought I would do a little Christmas tourist one by showing you what me and Nathan (my fiancĂ©) got up to at the York Christmas markets. We went on the train which took about an hour (I think) and £20 each return. Of course, the first thing we did when we got off the train was find the nearest costa for a cup of tea as it was so cold. I tried the lindt hot chocolate as it's my favourite chocolate but didn't like it, yet Nathan who hates lindt loved it?  We then tried looking on google for somewhere to go for breakfast but ended up going in the Slug and Lettuce which I’d heard good things about. I don’t know if they were having an off day but we weren’t impressed. The cups were dirty and the full English breakfast wasn’t that yummy. At least we got some cute pictures.   Whenever me and Nathan go anywhere we like to google places for inspiration on what to see, where to eat, coffee shops etc. We did some shopping in the normal shops...
