Our trip to...Whitby and Goathland

Hi guys! Today's blog post is about a little trip we had earlier this year in September. We love going to Whitby, the shops, arcades and atmosphere is just what we like, it also gives the opportunity to go on a day trip the day after we stay over as there are so many cool places to visit in the North Yorkshire Moors.
We stay in a B&B in Hinderwell called St Hilda's Boutique. The rooms are just amazing and unique and it's owned by such welcoming people. I'll probably do a blog post some time dedicated to the hotel. We stayed in the LA suite which was amazing I mean we had Elvis in a car above our bed and an old school gas pump as a wardrobe?!

We spend a windy day in Whitby, had dinner, went round the shops, walked up the 199 steps the Whitby Abbey and yeah it was just really fun.

We didn't actually go in the Abbey as we didn't fancy it but took a picture still.

I love cute flower shops, nothing better. (food shops are a close contender)

Cake shop window.

We got out picture drew in one of them booths, cute.

Had a chilled night watching TV, had a lovely bath in the room which I will show in the St Hilda's blog post.

So, on the second day we had actually drove past a really cute beach and cafe that Nathan spotted the day before so we thought we would go there before heading to Goathland.

This is what we looked like at the start of the day, after a full day of adventure I can't say we still looked like this at the end of the day.

This was the cute beach, Sandsend, a little fishing village near Whitby.

We had a really nice breakfast watching the waves in the local cafe.

We then drove to Goathland. It's famously knoen for appearing in The TV series Heartbeat, as the Hogwarts Express stop at Hogsmeade in the Harry Potter films and various other TV/Film things, so it was very exciting visiting.

This was the walk we did down to the waterfall which as you can image was fun. The waterfall is called Mallyan Spout shown on the first picture in this blog post. It was so peaceful and just what we needed.

Before heading home we went in some of the gift shops that had loads of harry potter and heartbeat merch so we were in our element with harry potter. We got a yummy ice cream to end out little 2 day trip. The drive home was about an hour so not bad at all.

Hope you enjoyed this post, if you did let me know in the comments or if you have any questions. thanks for reading!

Love,

6 WAYS TO PASS THE TIME IN AN AIRPORT

6 WAYS TO PASS THE TIME IN AN AIRPORT  What an amazing quote I found on tumblr.  Hey guys and girls, today's post is all about how to pass the time when waiting in an airport. Airports are usually busy places and usually incur some waiting time even without delays. For someone who adores aviation like myself, airports are fascinating. However, even I can't be entertained by watching the aircraft for too long!   Firstly for instagrammers and bloggers or anyone who enjoyes social media, taking that airport picture is essential.  For some down time after the running around, checking in and security, it's sometimes nice to just sit and watch the workers doing there thing outside. If you get a good window seat you can sit and watch the aircraft take off. Not for everyone but relaxing to some. Next up is the magazine reads. I'm not one for gossip mags and things that like as half the time it's all made up! However, give me a wedding magazi...

Makeup Revolution - Brow Tint - does it work?

Hey loves! I recently bought this revolution brow tint and obviously had to review it. If you seen my blog post on HD brows and the maybelline tattoo brow   you'll know I'm a fan of the tattoo brow idea! I reallllly don't like my natural eyebrows, they never sit right, there too light for my hair and are a rubbish shape, anyone else? Anyway so my sister tried this out first and said she really liked it so I went to superdrug and picked it up myself. I was initially really impressed as it only cost £5 where as the maybelline one cost £12 so a massive difference and I just love saving money. The packaging itself is simple, nothing to fancy just black with crome writing on and you can see the bottle through the little opening. The back of the box shows you step 1, 2 and 3 of how to apply it, how long to leave it on etc.  I got it in the darkest shade they do, dark brown as my hair is blue/black.  This is what the applicator looks like, it quite a thick...

Holiday Superdrug Order Review - Makeup Revolution, Pro and The Gypsy Shrine

Hey everyone! hope you're all okay, I know for any students (like myself) it's exam and deadlines week which means 50 cups of tea a day and unimaginable amounts of stress BUT we will do it. So to make myself feel better I ordered a Superdrug order because online shopping is the always the answer. We go on holiday at the start of June so wanted a couple of holiday makeup bits and also got 2 freebies which was a bonus, so lets get started! First of all we have this revolution hyaluronic fix hydrating and plumping makeup fixing spray which was £6. Now the only setting spray I've used is the urban decay all-nighter one but I didn't wanna take that one away with me and just wanted a cheaper one that I could overuse on the sweating holiday nights. I've not heard anything about this one and just seen it so I thought why not I might as well try it and I've used it a couple of times not and I'm loving it, especially on my brushes. Next up are ...
