I know some people think valentines day is a load of money making rubbish but it's actually sweet. I totally agree that if you don't show love for the rest of the year you shouldn't celebrate it. However if you do, then love endlessly forever, including valentines day! Me and Nathan wouldn't personally choose to go to a restaurant on valentines day (mainly because we cant wait more than 30 mins when we are hungry. This year we will actually be flying home on the 14th from our anniversary trip.
We celebrate our anniversary on the 13th of Feb so we appreciate our love anyway around the V day time.
Here are my top three outfit picks for the day depending on how you will be spending it...
Exploring a City:
Boohoo £8
Boohoo £8
Boohoo £25
PrettyLittleThing £3
The first one I have picked is this bodysuit from boohoo for £8 that I'm actually wearing for our anniversary with black leggings and a black leather jacket. I'll most likely wear a bandana as I love the 50's look they give. I either wear black or red for it because I know Nathan loves those colours on me. The total cost of this outfit is £44 minus any discounts the websites usually have on.
Out for dinner:
PrettyLittleThing £20
PrettyLittleThing £30
This jumpsuit from pretty little thing is casual but dressy and definitely something I would pick. I'd pair it with this blue jacket again from Pretty Little Thing for £30 and wear it open. The total cost of the outfit would be £50
Staying home:
PrettyLittleThing £18
PrettyLittleThing £15
PrettyLittleThing £15
PrettyLittleThing £12
If your staying home maybe watching a film with a takeaway (which would be my preferred night date on Valentines day) then a cute pair of jarmas with a nice underwear set would be my choice. Black lace always looks fabulous.
Love endlessly and Happy Valentines day.
