All things Christmas: Sia, Decorations, Flowers and Hot Chocolate.

Hello my lovely people reading today, I thought I'd do a quick blog on a few of my favourite Christmas bits and bobs this year. I recently bought the Sia, Everyday is Christmas album which is her new Christmas album released on 17 November 2017, but of course you already knew that! I listened to it on apple music and then just had to buy it for the car.

There is such a range of upbeat and slow songs that all make you feel a different emotion. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! If I HAD to pick favourites on the album I'd pick; Candy Cane Lane, Ho Ho Ho and Everyday is Christmas but they are honestly all fabulous!

Onto decorations... me and Nathan (my fiance) still live at my family home so most of the decorations we bought were for our bedroom.
This cute tea light holder from The Range has white glitter and a little handle on it and obviously I love it because it's one of my favourite colours! I put an LED tea light in mine as it brightens up the room better. The mini Christmas tree next to it i got from Tesco (I think) for £2.50 but they have them in most of the supermarkets flower section!
I got this amazing gingerbread smelling candle from Home Bargains and paired it on the shelf with this cutie gingerbread house tree decoration from Asda.

Nathan spotted this 'don't get your tinsel in a tangle' light up frame in The Range and we had to have it. I hung the glittery ivy also from The Range around the shelf above
I'm in love with these jelly type filled candles this year they are so clever and effective. I got this one from Asda, the Led wooden fake candle is from The Range and I'm going to keep them up (I got two) after Christmas because I love the look of them. The poinsettia plant in the background was a Christmas must and a £2 bargain in Tesco.
The marble vase is from B&M I think we payed £2.99. Nathan gets me flowers every payday but I wanted some that would fit with the Christmas theme and not take too much room on the dressing table so picked these glittery twigs and gypsophila from Marks and Spencer.
This wooden light up Christmas tree from Asda £12 is good for simple decor rooms. They also do a Star which would look fab anytime of the year! (click the image to go to www.direct.asda.com)
Again a simple bunch of flowers with a Christmas theme. These flowers are from my earlier blog post - York Christmas Markets (https://ourforeverutopia.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Travel

Personalised or quote tree decoration give that added magical touch. This one on our tree a reminder about how important family time is.
Lastly, the grand finale is my hot chocolate... Cadburys fudge sachet, cream, candy cane, gingerbread men, chocolate santa, iced decorations and sprinkles. What more could you want it a Christmas hot chocolate?

Hope you enjoyed this blog post, let me know by commenting of following me!

Makeup Revolution - Brow Tint - does it work?

Hey loves! I recently bought this revolution brow tint and obviously had to review it. If you seen my blog post on HD brows and the maybelline tattoo brow   you'll know I'm a fan of the tattoo brow idea! I reallllly don't like my natural eyebrows, they never sit right, there too light for my hair and are a rubbish shape, anyone else? Anyway so my sister tried this out first and said she really liked it so I went to superdrug and picked it up myself. I was initially really impressed as it only cost £5 where as the maybelline one cost £12 so a massive difference and I just love saving money. The packaging itself is simple, nothing to fancy just black with crome writing on and you can see the bottle through the little opening. The back of the box shows you step 1, 2 and 3 of how to apply it, how long to leave it on etc.  I got it in the darkest shade they do, dark brown as my hair is blue/black.  This is what the applicator looks like, it quite a thick a

Christmas Eve Routine

It's CHRISTMAS EVE! Nearly... My Christmas Eve routine...  When I get home from my 10-4 shift at work I’ll basically just chill for an hour or so, watch some YouTube videos. I then make sure everything is clean, and ready for some new things haha! I take all the presents down and put them under the tree as their isn't enough room to take them down before Christmas eve. Then my pamper routine commences. Shower first, wash hair, clean, shave, and exfoliate. After the shower... To get my face feeling clean I use micellar water which is part of my routine everyday morning and night, not just on Christmas eve!   Next, I use a Garnier skin active moisture bomb face mask, they are so amazing and your makeup goes on amazing the next day which is what I need getting ready on Christmas morning.  Recently I've been using the new Garnier skin active cleansing milk with honey flower  WOW is all I can say it's just an amazing product, my
