Christmas Eve Routine

 It's CHRISTMAS EVE! Nearly...

My Christmas Eve routine...

When I get home from my 10-4 shift at work I’ll basically just chill for an hour or so, watch some YouTube videos. I then make sure everything is clean, and ready for some new things haha! I take all the presents down and put them under the tree as their isn't enough room to take them down before Christmas eve.

Then my pamper routine commences. Shower first, wash hair, clean, shave, and exfoliate.

After the shower... To get my face feeling clean I use micellar water which is part of my routine everyday morning and night, not just on Christmas eve!

Next, I use a Garnier skin active moisture bomb face mask, they are so amazing and your makeup goes on amazing the next day which is what I need getting ready on Christmas morning.

WOW is all I can say it's just an amazing product, my skin is feeling fabulous, I feel and look more alert. I only use this product on a night for now.

I then use the ASDA skin system overnight blemish serum tea tree (Linked if you're interested) which I can't recommend enough! I actually suffer with acne and have for a few years so I've tried nearly every spot cream, doctors recommendations, prescriptions etc. but this is like my new best friend. I can't believe how quick it's working and how much improvement I can see after only a week! Even better it's a £2 bargain, just shows that you should always try products as I would never have a tried a supermarkets own brand spot cream!

Usually I would moisturise after this step with simple hydrating light moisturiser but as I used the moisture bomb I don't need to.

After all that's done I tan with my favourite tan EVER. Bondi Sands, it's an Australian fake tanning brand but it's available to buy in the UK from Boots and Superdrug.

I've actually used a few of their tanning products but the Liquid gold is the one I have been using for the longest now. It goes on as a spray so really quick and easy plus you leave it on overnight and don't have to wash it off which works for me, and the smell is beautiful, I feel like an Australian goddess!

Then I paint my toe nails, I get my nails gelled so just need to paint my toes! (I can't have people touching my feet haha!)

After my full self pamper it's time to give my mam (and dad) their Christmas eve hamper box, My grandma who passed away used to make my mam a box full of household essentials which we all used to look forward to with things like toilet roll, tins, biscuits, candle, washing up liquid etc. I know my mam used to love her mam giving her this box so last year we decided to do it for her and will continue to do it each year, just a small thing but something that means a lot.

By this time it's about 8 o'clock so all the family get a mixture of McDonald's and KFC and watch a film to de-stress ready for bed to wake up bright and early!

Hope you all have an amazing Christmas!

Love,

6 WAYS TO PASS THE TIME IN AN AIRPORT

6 WAYS TO PASS THE TIME IN AN AIRPORT  What an amazing quote I found on tumblr.  Hey guys and girls, today's post is all about how to pass the time when waiting in an airport. Airports are usually busy places and usually incur some waiting time even without delays. For someone who adores aviation like myself, airports are fascinating. However, even I can't be entertained by watching the aircraft for too long!   Firstly for instagrammers and bloggers or anyone who enjoyes social media, taking that airport picture is essential.  For some down time after the running around, checking in and security, it's sometimes nice to just sit and watch the workers doing there thing outside. If you get a good window seat you can sit and watch the aircraft take off. Not for everyone but relaxing to some. Next up is the magazine reads. I'm not one for gossip mags and things that like as half the time it's all made up! However, give me a wedding magazi...

Makeup Revolution - Brow Tint - does it work?

Hey loves! I recently bought this revolution brow tint and obviously had to review it. If you seen my blog post on HD brows and the maybelline tattoo brow   you'll know I'm a fan of the tattoo brow idea! I reallllly don't like my natural eyebrows, they never sit right, there too light for my hair and are a rubbish shape, anyone else? Anyway so my sister tried this out first and said she really liked it so I went to superdrug and picked it up myself. I was initially really impressed as it only cost £5 where as the maybelline one cost £12 so a massive difference and I just love saving money. The packaging itself is simple, nothing to fancy just black with crome writing on and you can see the bottle through the little opening. The back of the box shows you step 1, 2 and 3 of how to apply it, how long to leave it on etc.  I got it in the darkest shade they do, dark brown as my hair is blue/black.  This is what the applicator looks like, it quite a thick...

Holiday Superdrug Order Review - Makeup Revolution, Pro and The Gypsy Shrine

Hey everyone! hope you're all okay, I know for any students (like myself) it's exam and deadlines week which means 50 cups of tea a day and unimaginable amounts of stress BUT we will do it. So to make myself feel better I ordered a Superdrug order because online shopping is the always the answer. We go on holiday at the start of June so wanted a couple of holiday makeup bits and also got 2 freebies which was a bonus, so lets get started! First of all we have this revolution hyaluronic fix hydrating and plumping makeup fixing spray which was £6. Now the only setting spray I've used is the urban decay all-nighter one but I didn't wanna take that one away with me and just wanted a cheaper one that I could overuse on the sweating holiday nights. I've not heard anything about this one and just seen it so I thought why not I might as well try it and I've used it a couple of times not and I'm loving it, especially on my brushes. Next up are ...
